BorgWarner Emissions Systems Spain is currently looking for someone teamworker and results driven to join as Purchase Adminisitrative at our plant in Vigo, Spain.Summary JobAdministrative support in launching new programs from prototype phase to production launch, including cost estimation, bill of materials (BOM), supplier selection and transfer to commodity purchasing.Key Roles & ResponsibilitiesProvide administrative support to the purchasing area in the following fields: - technical evaluations of new components.- evaluation of component value mapping to optimize costs.- cost estimates for new components using information from existing components and suppliers.- development and maintenance of BOMs with costs and maintenance of BOM cost history.- tracking RFQs for prototypes and production. - issuing purchase orders (PO) for tooling for new programs.- Ensure the collection of tooling documentation prior to validating payment to the supplier, in accordance with the Supplier Manual procedure.- Development of ongoing component cost reduction projects. - design-for-value (DFV) activities - Development of new suppliers that meet BW cost, quality and delivery requirements.- New product launch meetings and Quality Gate ReviewsUnderstand and implement safety, environmental, quality and control policies.EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCESuperior Cycle in Administration or Degree in Business Administration or related field.- Minimum 1-3 years of experience in the purchasing area, preferably in the automotive sector.- Experience in the SAP purchasing module is a plus. - Good level of oral and written English is a must- Knowledge of MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook).SKILLS / COMPETENCESAbility to work in a teamGood communication skillsCustomer orientedProblem solvingDecision making
