Our client, an established business based in Old Hill, requires a Full Time Purchase Ledger Controller for a Temporary to Permanent contract to start ASAP. It is essential you have relevant experience in a similar role and ideally with an Engineering or Manufacturing background. This is a fantastic opportunity for the right candidate to add real value to the business and work as part of the team. THE ROLE The role reports to the Financial Controller and is working in a small and busy team. You will be responsible for processing high volumes of invoices, coding and matching the invoices, and then batching them into the correct files. You will also be reconciling statements and dealing with any supplier queries. Working on a flexible basis, this role would suit someone who is available with no notice and could start immediately. You will be using MS Excel and Pegasus Opera. REQUIREMENTS You will have a good understanding of the purchase ledger function with 1 – 3 years of experience. You will be looking to work in a small and friendly team, ideally have knowledge of Pegasus Opera, and possess MS Excel skills. You will have good keyboard skills and a keen eye for detail, as well as high volume processing experience. You will be conscientious, hardworking, and available on short notice. COMPANY BENEFITS The company offers excellent working conditions with onsite parking. Working hours are Monday to Thursday 8:00 am – 4:30 pm and 8:00 am – 1:00 pm Friday. Benefits include 24 holidays plus stats, free parking, private medical insurance, and a pension with 4.5% contributed by the employer.
