As the IPS family continues to grow, we are looking for a Senior Accountant who will join the Finance & Accounting department in our office in Madrid.
You will be joining a team at an important point of our journey where we are improving our financial reporting every month and striving to provide more valuable actionable insights.
Your scope of responsibilities will cover two Spanish entities.
Within the Finance Department, reporting to the International Business Unit Manager of Finance, your main missions will be as follows:
Manage month-end closing process, monthly reconciliation of all balance sheet accounts and timely resolution of variances with the Business and the External Accounting supplier.Revision of the Financial statements and delivery of information for Consolidation purposes at Group level.Ensure that all financial records are accurate and timely submitted for annual audits.Be the interlocutor of the auditors during annual audits and any other external controls.Continue reporting improvements, defining, and shaping our financial reporting roadmap to increase accuracy and quality.Work with the wider finance team abroad, and other business units to improve efficiency including documenting process improvement.Manage Accounts Receivable & Payables with treasury management (Bank reconciliations, credit collection).
Update and follow up on invoices/PO delivery.Cash Flow Management: update invoicing file and prevision table for economical horizon purposes.Payroll processing: Calculation, processing, and preparation of payroll employee receipts (with the support of HR) and review of expenses approval.Requirements:
More than 4 years of accounting experience.Master's degree in finance/accounting (Business Administration).Experience in External Audit.Experienced in managing tools like ERP accounting systems.Experience in annual tax and social declarations is a plus.Mastery of office automation tools required, especially Excel.Rigorous, organized, responsive, proactive, autonomous.Sense of service and teamwork in a dynamic environment.Experience in an international environment would be highly appreciated.Travel availability (punctual).English C1 is a must.Benefits: What we offer: IPS offers you a challenging job in a dynamic and international environment with professional growth potential.
