Dott is currently operating in 7 countries and over 50 cities, 6 in Spain, with big challenges and plans ahead for 2024. We're looking for a Public Policy Manager to lead our growth in the country and our relationships with key stakeholders such as municipalities, institutions, partners, etc. The ideal candidate is a smart and dedicated person, eager to learn and grow together with us. The Public Policy Manager will report to the Regional manager and will be located in Madrid, with availability to travel.
THE ROLE AND YOUR IMPACT AT TIER-Dott
Define the expansion priorities in Spain together with the country General Manager
Define the strategy to unlock new market, leveraging Dott technical assets
Develop and shape knowledge about Dott & its strengths within cities
Be the peer of local Administrations to strategically shape market regulations in line with best-in-class standards
Monitor, report, and organise policy activities, in collaboration with all the internal stakeholders
Represent Dott at public policy related local events
Support the tender application process, helping to define Dott's strategic positioning & providing bespoke local content
Research and analyse the political and governmental landscape in Spain, including regulations and policy developments
Support in reviewing city satisfaction about Dott service where Dott operates, discussing improvement plans with city operations teams
Build lasting and value-adding partnerships, to create a network around Dott, and to support the team's goals.
YOU'LL FIT GREAT WITH THESE SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS
3-5 years experience in public affairs/policy, associations, institutional relations, policy-related consulting, or similar;
Experience in external relationships and representation;
Preferably a network of established relationships, especially if into city administrations, political parties, mobility-related public and private sector stakeholders ;
Degree in Political Science, Law, International Relations, Economy, or similar.
Strong writing skills in Spanish and English (correspondence, proposals, etc.);
Any additional languages are a plus;
Ability to work well in a cross-functional and multi-cultural environment and in multiple teams simultaneously;
Ability to stay calm under pressure and problem-solving;
Excellent communication and organisational skills.
