To this end, we offer the position of Public Funding Coordinator.
MAIN FUNCTIONS
Conduct research to identify public funding opportunities at local, national, and international levels.
Monitor government funding programs, grants, and subsidies relevant to Basquevolt's focus areas, including renewable energy, sustainability, and innovation.
Prepare and submit grant applications, proposals, and funding requests in accordance with agency guidelines and deadlines.
Collaborate with internal stakeholders to gather information and documentation for grant applications.
Monitor and track grant application progress, submission deadlines, and ensure compliance with reporting requirements for awarded grants.
Cultivate relationships with funding agencies, government officials, and other stakeholders to enhance visibility and access to funding opportunities.
Attend networking events, conferences, and workshops to stay informed about public sector funding trends and opportunities.
Assist in budget development for grant-funded projects, ensuring alignment with funding guidelines and reporting requirements.
Prepare financial reports and documentation for grant-funded projects, including expenditure tracking and budget reconciliation.
Coordinate grant justifications in collaboration with people, finance, and other departments.
Stay updated on regulatory changes and compliance requirements related to public funding, ensuring adherence to applicable laws and regulations.
Provide guidance and support to project teams on compliance matters related to grant-funded activities.

Minimum Requirements:
Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration, Public Policy, Finance, or a related field. Engineering background is a plus.
Training or certification in grant writing, project management, or public policy is preferred.
Minimum of 3 years of experience in grant writing, public funding coordination, or related roles.
Strong understanding of funding programs, grants management processes, and regulatory frameworks.
Fluency in English is required.
Proficiency in other languages may be advantageous, especially when working with international funding agencies.
