We are proud to have planted over 27 million trees in more than 40 projects worldwide!The position : Join our team as a Jr. Project Manager and make a positive impact on the environment! In this role, you will support the Project Team in managing and keeping updated some of our reforestation projects on our Tree-Nation platform. You will also help with regards to remote and on-site verification of each project. You will also be responsible for scouting new reforestation projects in strategic territories and reviewing best practices from other similar websites to improve our platform. Additionally, you will help with data analysis to improve how we make our projects active and attractive to sponsors. This is a meaningful opportunity to be a part of a team that is dedicated to preserving and protecting the natural world.Key responsibilities :Manage and keep updated our reforestation projects on our Tree-Nation platform.Assist with remote and on-site verification of each project.Support the team in reviewing and validating species planted.Write and approve content on the projects update page (articles about the development of the projects, stories from the field, etc).Scouting new reforestation projects: help us to find, approve and develop new projects in strategic territories.Review best practices from other similar reforestation websites to improve our own.Strengthen our network of forest experts from local forestry institutes and universities.Scout new technical partners to improve the verification and monitoring of our projects.Help to improve processes in a fast-changing environment.Minimum requirements :Forestry or environmental background through studies or work-related experience.At least a bachelor degree, ideally in a related field.A strong understanding of the reforestation sector.Excellent communication and writing skills.Strong organizational skills, combined with an ability to work in a fast-paced and changing environment.Able to think strategically and identify opportunities to improve processes and increase efficiency.Result oriented.Excellent work ethic
