Job Description We at PRONOVIAS GROUP, a global leader in the Bridal industry, are currently looking for a professional and talented Senior Accountant for our headquarters in Barcelona.

The Senior Accountant will report to the Accounting & Tax Manager and will perform general accounting & tax activities for Spanish and foreign subsidiaries.
Main Responsibilities Ensure that data is accurate and complies with generally accepted accounting principles, regulatory standards, and company policies.
Responsible for month-end closing tasks, reviewing the P&L and BS.
Prepare journal entries relating to amortisation, depreciation, accruals, deferrals, reclassifications, intercompany entries, and other information.
Analyse financial information to ensure that data supports budgeting requirements and provide solutions to control issues.
Prepare balance sheet reconciliations: analyse and reconcile balance sheet accounts to ensure that entries and balances are correct.
Prepare and present tax declarations.
Support the annual audits.
Propose improvement projects to implement optimised processes in the Accounting & Tax team.
Participate in cross-departmental meetings and projects.
Document accounting processes and policies.
Requirements University degree in Finance or Accounting.
5+ years' experience in accounting in an international work environment.
Solid knowledge of Spanish GAAP.
Other GAAPs will be valued.
Solid knowledge of the Spanish taxation system.
Other taxation systems will be valued.
Good MS Excel skills and experience with ERP systems.
Advanced English and Spanish.
Other languages will be valued.
