This position is available to work remotely in any country where we have an office.What will I be doing?Lead the Courier Payment solution at Stuart and manage the transition of local solutions to a unified and centralized global service.Manage a global team, composed of 4+ engineers from different local markets.Define the architecture and own the development experience for this global solution.Collaborate frequently with Tech counterparts and Business stakeholders to align on business needs and drive global technical solutions forward.What do we need from you?You will have a solutions-oriented mindset - you're a creative problem solver even with limited tools.You're extremely comfortable coding in Python with 4+ years of experience.
Experience using SQL and Docker is a plus.You have at least 2+ years of experience leading and managing teams.You have 2+ years of experience managing technical projects.Having a background/interest in Finance is desirable.Having some experience working with NodeJS is a plus.You've got a Computer Science degree, Vocational Education, or similar related to computer science, engineering, or mathematics.You can gather requirements, plan your own work and propose software solutions to real-life problems.High-quality and testable code is your domain, but you're occasionally happy to prototype hackathon-style (and clean up afterward).Working with 3rd party systems, and building integrations and plugins is something you're familiar with.We (sometimes) deploy a few times a day, which means, you should know what CI stands for (and you've used it before)
