If evaluated positively, you will join the unit to perform tasks related to bioinformatics data analysis.The Germans Trias i Pujol Research Institute (IGTP) is a public research center located on the Can Ruti Biomedical Campus, Badalona, near Barcelona. The IGTP focuses its research on improving the care and life of patients. The institute is attached to one of the largest teaching hospitals in the Barcelona area, the Germans Trias i Pujol University Hospital (HUGTP). The IGTP is a CERCA center and a member of the biocluster supported by the Generalitat de Catalunya. It is also accredited as a Center of Excellence by the Instituto de Salud Carlos III (Spanish Government), acting as an umbrella organization for scientific research on campus and working closely with other centers located there.Bioinformatics and, in particular, genomics, is a research area shared by many research groups on the Can Ruti campus that utilize the services offered by the Unit.Responsibilities:Preprocessing and quality control of genomic dataBioinformatics and integrative analysis of genomic, epigenomic, metagenomic, transcriptomic, metabolic, and proteomic dataCommunication with users (biomedical researchers) and preparation of results reportsMaintenance of data repository and documentation of bioinformatics procedures and tools#J-18808-Ljbffr
