ABOUT THE ROLEJOB TITLE: COUNTRY MANAGER SPAIN
LOCATION: MADRID (Hybrid)
TYPE OF CONTRACT: PERMANENT
SALARY RANGE: €58.000 - €70.000 (we will determine the offer based on experience and seniority)
REPORT TO: Chief Operating Officer
What you'll do:Develop and implement strategies to enhance WeRoad's market presence in Spain, aligning with overall company objectives, together with HQ and local functions.Identify and activate direct, trade, B2B sales channels and partnerships to accelerate growth while respecting and strengthening our brand values.Develop and foster our offline community events to become the reference in Spain as both online and offline community for millennials.Recruit, train, and lead a high-performing team, fostering a culture of collaboration and excellence.Understand our WeRoaders and market needs, identify trends, customer preferences, and competitive landscape to inform business decisions.Ensure that all customer interactions reflect WeRoad's commitment to quality and service excellence.Act as spokesperson in Spain and brand reference for PR.Oversee financial performance, including budgeting, forecasting, and reporting on key performance indicators.Work closely with cross-functional teams (marketing, product development, customer service) to enhance offerings and improve operational efficiency.What you'll bring to the table:A deep understanding of Spanish Millennials and GenZ targets and expert-level knowledge of the Spanish language and culture.A strong business background, ideally with experience in startups and/or the tourism industry.Experience designing and executing a successful GTM strategy in Spain.Experience managing complex, cross-functional projects in a fast-paced, high-stakes environment.A strong results orientation and top-notch analytical skills.Outstanding networking skills and the ability to make partnerships happen.Proven leadership skills and experience managing a team.Excellent judgment and problem-solving abilities.Previous working experience or knowledge of the tourism industry is a plus.You will love working at WeRoad if:You are ambitious and want to build and be part of something huge, growing faster than you thought possible.You love travel and want to join a young, smart, and fun team of people who love it, too.You prefer adventure instead of daily routine and love working in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.You are an entrepreneur at heart and a self-starter, not afraid to take on a lot of responsibility from the start.What we can offer:A free WeRoad trip every year to the destination of your choice.Become one of our Travel Coordinators and you could go even more often.A great workspace, a vibrant co-working space, and community.Opportunities to learn.
