Job Description
• Write and disseminate press kits, pitches, publisher notices, calendar listings.
• Advise on marketing and advertising copy and provide editing for brand consistency.
• Develop design and artwork in accordance with corporate standards for advertising and hotel collateral.
• Oversee layout and design of ads, collateral, and any other projects.
• Propose new and creative ideas/concepts to improve overall brand standards.
• Study and prepare layouts, proposed artwork sketches, and related materials.
• Determine the most appropriate style, techniques, and medium to produce desired effects and meet reproduction requirements, or receive specific instructions on these variables.
• Formulate concepts and present illustrations and details from models, sketches, memory.
• Analyze illustrations at various stages of completion and make changes as necessary.
• Select type, draw lettering, design materials, or perform related tasks.
• Build positive relationships with local media and industry partners in key markets.
• Develop and maintain all media lists and contact information.
• Maintain an up-to-date photo and video library, including a photographic record of all media and special events.
• Extend the brand's reach with marketing partnerships and non-traditional media.
• Develop proactive marketing and communication plans (monthly and annual) aimed at achieving results and building awareness, thereby maximizing the power of the brand worldwide.
• Develop sponsorship opportunities and partnerships that enhance and support brand development.
Qualifications
• Minimum 2 years of experience in a related position.
• Degree in Marketing/Communication or related field.
• Degree in Graphic Design or related field.
• Demonstrable experience leading and managing SEO/SEM, database marketing, email, social media, and/or display advertising campaigns.
