Protocol Officer

You will serve as a PROTOCOL OFFICER in the Staff of the Commanding Officer, Naval Activities Spain (COMNAVACTS) at Naval Station Rota, Spain.
Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the (GS-11) grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector.
Specialized experience must demonstrate the following:
Developing and distributing detailed itineraries for visiting dignitaries and officials to ensure all logistical, security, and ceremonial requirements are met.Coordinating with internal and external stakeholders to plan and execute high-profile events, conferences, and ceremonies aligned with U.S. military and government protocol.Advising senior leaders and department heads on protocol matters to ensure adherence to etiquette standards during interactions with U.S. and foreign dignitaries.Managing Official Representation Funds (ORF) to ensure accurate accounting and compliance with financial regulations during social and ceremonial engagements.NOTE: This information must be supported in your resume to be considered for the position.
