.Protocol & Events Manager (Temp Agency)Location: Getafe AreaTime Type: Full timePosted: 2 Days AgoJob Description:An opportunity for the management of events and VIP visits within Airbus Getafe (Madrid).The selected candidate will join the management of events and VIP visits.RESPONSIBILITIES- Engage with Senior Management and their offices for all hospitality and VIP visits.- Act as a project manager for Protocol and Events activities in Spain, with particular focus on Getafe and Illescas.- Plan and deliver on time and on quality Protocol and Events activities.- Work closely with the Spain Communications team to ensure consistent communication, visibility and best practice sharing.- Act and behave by respecting Ethics and Compliance rules.- Organize External / Internal VIP visits.- Plan, implement, deliver and evaluate events on request of and in harmonization with the Communications processes to the highest professional standards ensuring engagement of appropriate stakeholders throughout the planning and delivery process.- Collect brief and all necessary information to ascertain precise visits or events requirements.- Be responsible for the event or visit.- Decide on treatment for each visitor and take necessary actions or delegate tasks to outside suppliers.- Ensure that appropriate protocol is followed during a visit or event, according to the level of visitors and hosts.- Coordinate all subcontractors during the event.- Ensure Health and Safety procedures are respected.- Manage the budget.- Organize follow-up sessions for lessons learnt and recommendations for the next editions.SKILLSIs your profile aligned to the following list of skills? We are looking forward to knowing you:- Educated in a Protocol / Communication degree or a related discipline.- At least 2 years of experience working in Events & Protocol.- Knowledge in Branding, Social Media, Protocols & Hospitality, Ethics & Compliance, and Project management will be a plus.- High adaptability to work on new topics, new business and in a network mode.- Advanced level in English and Spanish.- German or French would be an asset.- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
