We are currently seeking a Proposals Manager to join our Proposal Team based in Barcelona, Spain.
About The Role As Proposal Manager, you'll manage the development of pre-qualification and proposal responses as required, following the Proposals Process within our organisation. You will be working with key support groups including our Commercial, Contractual, and Technical disciplines, in order to produce a winning proposition to our clients.
Working with the assigned Bid Team, you will drive the development of the proposal win strategy and value proposition. With the support of the Bid Team, manage the preparation of the technical content, including project execution methodology and supporting documents such as schedule, personnel nominations, man-hours, deliverables lists, technical clarifications, and deviations.
Regular engagement with Technip Energies Management is required to establish and manage the proposal strategy and approval stage gates. Set and manage the proposal schedule and allocation of responsibilities within the bid team, ensuring the bid team is on target throughout the proposal process. Ensure the development of high-quality proposal documents and maintain records/files of work and revisions.
About You Qualification in engineering, with a complement in business. 10 years of experience, ideally within the oil and gas industry, energy transition fields, and/or with a Process Technology provider (preferably in a similar role). Fluent in English and Spanish; other languages will be a plus.
Proven understanding of Microsoft Office suite of programs, particularly Word, Excel, and PowerPoint. Personal drive to identify, analyze, and propose solutions to problems in a constructive and positive manner, along with a willingness to challenge to enhance quality and presentation of input received from authors in the bid team.
Strong organisational and planning skills, able to drive a team through the proposals process whilst maintaining the schedule in line with business priorities. Effective communication skills, particularly in writing clearly and concisely with impact and meaning. Capability to achieve tight deadlines, even if the situation changes.
