The Role: We are looking for a talented Promotion & Travel Manager to work for the Davis Cup, the World Cup of Tennis, at our Barcelona Headquarters. The person in charge must be someone with demonstrable experience in International Sports Events building the international fan attendance strategy, creating different travel + ticket packages and dealing with tour operators, travel agencies, fan groups and National Tennis Associations with the aim of having full venues.
Define specific routes for fans around the globe to travel to the Davis Cup Finals.Create Promotional Plans in order to engage with International Fans.Define Product, pricing and offering.Shape the fan journey to the Finals.Engage third party organizations:Travel agent market.Inbound Tourism market.Potential Alliances with Airlines.Identify the best agency expert agencies to support and deliver specific tasks required for each spectator journey.Lead all travel and promotional initiatives to ensure ticket revenues and ticketing inventory are maximized.Work with other internal stakeholders from the Marketing Department and the wider company to grow attendances for all the matches. Experience:
5+ years of relevant experience in promotion & travel roles.The sports or entertainment industry, preferably tennis.Relevant experiences dealing with travel agencies, tour operators and different sports organizations.Excellent communication and presentation skills, with a high attention to detail.Ability to multi-task and prioritize in a fast-paced and dynamic work environment.Implement, follow and document processes, plans, and ideas.Advanced written and spoken English is required - Spanish native or bilingual compulsory.The ability to work to tight deadlines and react quickly and flexibly to changing event and operational conditions.Strong leadership skills.Excellent stakeholder management and the ability to liaise with internal and external stakeholders to improve processes / services and resolve issues.The ability to organize activities effectively and multitask, ensuring the best-in-class provision of all ticketing services.
