GMV has won the contract from the European Union Agency for the Space Programme (EUSPA) for the design, development, and deployment of the backbone of Europe's critical satellite communications, the GOVSATCOM Hub. WHAT CHALLENGE WILL YOU BE TAKING ON? We are looking for a Project Officer to work within the GOVSATCOM Hub project. In this role, you will have the opportunity to manage projects for large international clients. You will be responsible for ensuring the successful delivery of projects, aligning client needs with GMV's technical capabilities, and ensuring compliance with deadlines, budgets, and quality standards. Some of the tasks to be performed include: Project Planning: In coordination with the project's technical manager, define the logic and sequence of project development, setting clear goals and achievable objectives. Supervision and Control: Monitor the execution of the project in all its phases, ensuring it stays within the established schedule, assigned budget, and meets quality criteria. Identify and manage risk. Communication and Follow-up: Organize and lead regular follow-up meetings and milestones with the client and work teams to evaluate progress and resolve potential obstacles. WHAT DO WE NEED IN OUR TEAM? For this position, we are looking for graduates in computer engineering, telecommunications, or similar fields who have: At least 5 years of experience in project management, preferably in the space or telecommunications sector. Budget and Risk Control: Experience in budget management and risk management associated with complex projects. Documentation: Ability to prepare management documentation. Client Orientation and Communication Skills. Experience in coordinating multidisciplinary teams. We will also positively value: SW/HW Systems Integration: Familiarity with the integration of software and hardware teams in complex environments.
