Job Purpose Summary:Responsible for industrial project design, construction, start up and optimization of industrial resources ensuring success in meeting cost objectives and ensuring quality of the solutions given.Duties and Responsibilities:Ensuring the engineering designs and technical specifications meet the required standards and are implemented correctly.Responsible for the facility equipment and layout development in assigned projects.Knowledge of safety regulations and their application to the project: HAZOP review, dangerous areas, risk analysis, installation implementation.Elaboration of P&ID ´s, mass balances, equipment and instrumentation data sheets, basic calculation of equipment such as pumps, heat exchangers, air compressors.Supervision of equipment integration, as well as the design and routing of main and auxiliary pipelines in assigned projects.Participate in the continuous improvement of current equipment.Follow up of equipment manufacturing.Definition of the equipment and bill of materials for purchase.Management of external engineering companies assigned to the project.Technical project planning management and technical review.Supervision of equipment assembly at site, and participation during start up process in international mining projects.Preparing, reviewing, and maintaining project technical documentation and reports.This job definition contains the main duties and responsibilities but the employee could meet other tasks as may be assigned by his/her superior at the same level of competence and/or responsibility.Competences:Commitment and integration in MAXAM.Internal and external client orientation.Multi-project management.Working effectively, and autonomously, in a team environment interacting with design engineers, manufacturing engineers, suppliers, and product line managers.Willing to travel to mining camps to supervise assembly process with local teams. Flexible to about 30% travel including international travel.Technical Competences:University Degree (Chemical, Industrial Engineering).Masters in Industrial Engineering.Minimum of three years' of experience as EPC project engineer.Chemical, manufacturing or Industrial sector experience.Other skills (languages, IT, other technical knowledge):Fluent in English, other languages are valued.Autocad and Solidworks knowledge.Microsoft Office package advanced skills.#J-18808-Ljbffr
