Job Description PROJECT ROLEThe Project Manager is the core element responsible for coordinating cross-functional teams within the company by setting and driving goals, mitigating risks, and ensuring all parts of the company are aligned to successfully develop and commercialize the company's product through optimal collaboration of all components (photonic team, chemical team, clinical team, software team, mechanical team, commercial team, regulatory team). The Project Manager will work with management to support initiatives related to customer requirements, usability, validation, clinical studies, and other relevant areas.
RESPONSIBILITIESManagement of multidisciplinary, challenging projects across teams (photonic, chemical, clinical, software, mechanical, commercial, regulatory) to achieve end goals while keeping them on track.Proactive identification of potential risks (technical, integration, etc.) and generation of mitigation plans.Generation and management of project timelines and charts, and allocation of resources in collaboration with the management team.Time-bounded goal setting and supervision at both individual and team levels.Preparation of technical documentation in collaboration with relevant teams (e.g. clinical trial, regulatory documentation, standard compliance reports, etc.).Additional duties to be defined as they arise.This role will report directly to the management team.REQUIREMENTSBSc in Engineering or other discipline with substantial technical expertise.At least 4 years of experience in technical project management.At least 4 years of experience working on complex engineering projects, including electronics/photonics and microfluidics.Project management experience in a highly regulated environment (medical IVD regulations).Thorough knowledge of project management software tools (e.g. MS project management tools).Strong organizational skills.Advanced communication, leadership, and teamwork skills.Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
