Job Information: Reference Number: JR-0030191Job Function: Supply ChainPosition Type: Full timeSite: N/A, 28108 Alcobendas, MadridYour Responsibilities and Tasks: Drive as key strategic initiative optimization of global Transport Management & continuous development thereof, also assessing (long-term) transportation risks and mitigation thereof, thus ensuring resilient Transport Management.Ensure strategic rollout & further development of Transport Management System to increase transparency & efficiency.Define, run & plan SC – projects to further Supply Chain Performance.Support in generating and continuously assessing relevant SCM performance indicators, support in identifying shortfalls and derive improvement activities, and ensure standard KPI reporting (Cash/Cost/Performance).Lead project activities, plan timelines, assess risks and plan mitigation activities and ensure overall on-time and in-budget of project activities with overall plan.Ensure time and resource availability and escalates risks to manager and/or Steering Committees as appropriate.Run assigned activities independently to optimize GEA's supply chain to drive cash, cost, and performance indicators.Work with cross-functional teams of internal and external colleagues (internal: Local SC teams (site, BU, Division level), Indirect Procurement, Global SAP; external: Consultants, suppliers).Realize cost synergies across product groups, ensure a seamless and effective supply chain.Continuously optimize supply-chain processes and structures and related key figures.Develop new procedures and/or modify existing procedures significantly.Drive selection and implementation of suitable IT tools to support for increasing efficiency and digitalization.Support in driving functional development of new ways of working and improving existing ways of working in SCM environment.Actively drive assigned improvements of SCM activities across R&C; and Divisional organizations.Your Profile and Qualifications: At least 5 years of multinational Supply Chain experience.Experience in change-management.Experience in leading and implementation of corporate Supply Chain networks.Work experience both in complex matrix and centralized organizations.Profound know-how of supply/demand planning, warehousing, and logistics in multi-site environments.Profound project management skills.English (proficient), preferably local language (fluent).Ability to lead internationally and/or culturally diverse teams.
