About the job
Project Manager - Strategic Alliances (Startup Ecosystems and Investments) Impact Ventures, EIT Urban Mobility's investment arm, is looking for an experienced project manager in the domains of startup ecosystems, partnerships, and investments to contribute to the execution of its activity.
The Strategic Alliances activity includes collaborations with ecosystem builders, accelerators, investors, and other key-players in the leading European startup ecosystem which are aimed at supporting EIT Urban broader Mobility's investment activity.
The ideal candidate for this role will have 7-10 years of experience in high-performance companies within the private sector and will have a good level of knowledge and experience in corporate innovation and/or corporate or private startup investments.
The Strategic Alliances (Startup Ecosystems and Investments) Project Manager will report to the Head of Strategic Alliances at EIT Urban Mobility. The work processes will include ongoing project management and close collaborations with our startup ecosystem partners, as well as with EIT Urban Mobility's internal departments such as Finance, Legal, Communication and EU Affairs.
Tasks include:
Managing the operations of several pan-European accounts within the Strategic Alliances activity.
Managing procurement processes, payment processes, and deliverable-monitoring and documenting.
Dealing with startup investment recommendations and other steps in the investment process.
Communicating regularly with EITUM's internal units and executing internal operational activities needed within the various projects.
Supporting procurement processes, writing procurement calls and requests for proposals, reviewing legal and other framework documents.
Supporting the KPI monitoring and impact assessment of the Strategic Alliances activity.
Assisting with the design of complex startup co-investments and European investment-oriented partnerships.
The role requires travels in Europe, up to 6-8 times per year. Travel costs are fully covered by us and are defined in our Travel Policy.
What you will bring along the way:

Must-have:
A relevant University Master's degree.
Excellent written and spoken English (C1).
7-10 years of work experience in high-performance companies within the private sector, in corporate innovation and/or corporate or private startup investments.
Proven high-level project management and communication skills.
Nice-to-have:
Experience working in an international multi-stakeholder environment.
Other EU languages are a plus.
