Our Regional Office now has an exciting opportunity for a Project Manager Spain & Italy to join our fantastic team.
About the role The Project Manager will oversee the management and execution of development projects across Cognita schools in Spain, working closely with the Head of Properties and the Senior Project Manager to advance the organization's property strategy. This role is central to coordinating capital projects, from new builds to refurbishments, ensuring each initiative is delivered on time, within budget, and to Cognita's quality standards. The Project Manager will also manage regular Capex activities, ensuring compliance with statutory and safety requirements, including safeguarding and health and safety regulations. Through professional collaboration with school leaders, contractors, and stakeholders, the Project Manager will drive operational excellence in property development to support Cognita's vision and objectives.
Who we are looking for Strong project management skills with the ability to manage multiple projects concurrently. Excellent written and verbal communication skills in both Spanish and English. Analytical skills with a keen attention to detail, able to monitor costs, schedules, and quality effectively. Bachelor's degree in construction management, architecture, engineering, or a related field. Minimum of 5 years' experience managing property development, refurbishment, or new build projects.
