Steels made using innovative processes which use less energy, emit significantly less carbon and reduce costs.As IT development project manager and software architect, you will play a pivotal role in leading and shaping projects related to the evolution, transformation, or creation of applications and systems within the IT Spain Cluster.KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:Project Leadership: Take the lead on IT software development projects, fostering and supporting innovation while consistently seeking standardized, optimal and industrialized solutions.Project Delivery: Ensure that projects are executed with the necessary service level, adhering to scope, schedule and budget constraints.Stakeholder Collaboration: Collaborate with various stakeholders to gather and define software requirements effectively.Architectural Guidance: Provide the development team with architectural blueprints and guidelines to follow during the software development process.Solution Design: Evaluate, identify and design high-level software solutions that align with project objectives.Team Oversight: Oversee, supervise and guide the work of the development team to ensure project goals are met.Problem Solving: Identify and direct solutions for critical challenges related to software and hardware integrations.Issue Resolution: Troubleshoot and resolve coding or design issues as they arise during the development and maintenance process.Reporting and Goal Setting: Present regular progress reports to stakeholders and establish clear project goals.Quality Assurance: Conduct thorough testing of the final product to ensure it functions correctly and meets internal customer requirements.Change Impact Analysis: Understand the architecture of software applications to estimate the impact of change requests accurately.POSITION SCOPE:The scope of these projects will be linked to the IT Spain Cluster Industrial Applications, which includes 5 sites: Asturias, Sagunto, Etxebarri, Sestao and Lesaka.TECHNOLOGICAL REQUIREMENTS:You will need to work with a range of technologies, including both "new" and "legacy" ones, such as Angular, .NET Core, REST services, SSIS, SQL Server, Winforms, Visual Basic, Cobol, DB2 and CICS Transaction Gateway.LOCATION:The primary workplace will be in Asturias, Spain, with possible locations in Aviles or Gijon.COLLABORATION:You will collaborate closely with other IT teams, both at the regional and group level, as well as infrastructure and process automation teams
