LHH is looking for a Project Manager, Service Engineer for a company dedicated to providing services and technology for the pulp, paper, and energy industries.
Its operations are mainly focused on the development and supply of machinery and equipment, as well as automation solutions and maintenance services to help optimize and improve the efficiency of industrial plants.
Main functions: Produce quotations according to customer requests and needs concerning field service activities. Provide technical support in the sales phase of the projects. Carry the overall technical and financial responsibility of the service by leading efficiently and effectively the nominated project organization. Plan and coordinate all the activities during service execution, such as engineering, purchasing, manufacturing, logistics, installation, and commissioning. Provide assistance for the installation and commissioning of any service, equipment, or components. Coordinate pre-site and on-site foremen, subcontractors, safety experts, and the customer. Keep accurate records regarding job progress, delays, problems, deliveries, changes, extras, and engineering and fabrication errors. Report back on the completed services outlining the activities carried out, faults found during service, and any future recommendations for improving the service offering. Lead customer communication about all service aspects. Always act with safety in mind, follow Valmet and customer HSE procedures, and protect self and others. Profile: M.Sc or B.Sc in Engineering field or at least 3 years experience in Project Management. Experience in a similar position (at least 3 years in paper/fiber services). Strong communicator (written and verbal) in both Spanish and English. Personal qualities characterized by a combination of autonomy with a great sense of proactivity and initiative. Team player, fluent negotiator, strong problem solver, quick establisher of credibility, and effective time manager. Ability to develop relationships with stakeholders at all organizational levels, internally and externally. Willingness to travel across Spain and abroad.
