Job Description OVERALL OBJECTIVES: As part of the Regional IT Infrastructure & Solutions team for Eurofins Food, Feed & Environment Testing Europe (F&E; Europe), you will lead and drive forward strategic IT Solution transition projects across Europe, including ITAAG transitions and eLIMS NG deployment projects. Your role will have direct exposure to business leadership and will require extensive coordination across many Eurofins teams and businesses.
SPECIFIC ASSIGNMENTS:
- Lead and drive forward ITAAG transition projects throughout F&E; Europe, to migrate the entire IT solutions landscape into IT Application Availability Groups (ITAAGs) embedded in newly designed and fully segregated IT Infrastructure User Zones (ITUZs).
- Lead and drive forward Eurofins IT Solutions (EurIS) deployment projects throughout F&E; Europe, including eLIMS NG deployment projects in existing Eurofins businesses as well as EurIS integration projects in newly acquired businesses.
- Work with various teams to ensure (local) software solutions are segregation- and Cloud-ready, and help transition and optimize them towards Cloud.
- Support and empower Businesses and Local IT Solutions teams to deliver Group IT Solutions projects themselves as much as possible, in line with Eurofins strategy, best practices and standards.
- Coordinate effectively and efficiently between Eurofins teams and business stakeholders, including Group IT Solutions, Infrastructure and Security teams as well as Local IT teams and Business Stakeholders, across multiple nationalities and geographies.
- Help define and pro-actively share (new) best practices, standards, policies for above-mentioned activities, to ensure continuous improvement of the way of working within Eurofins.
- Establish effective project governance by and communication with (senior) business management, including preparation of steering committee meetings and management approvals.
- Lead definition and management approval of project objectives, scope, design, budget, planning and resource allocation.
- Manage and control projects scope, cost, planning, resources, risks and delivery quality, in line with agreed project targets and requirements.
- Lead and coach project teams and establish effective and efficient ways of project delivery and project communication.
- Proactively identify and mitigate project delivery risks and bottlenecks and ensure maximum project progress despite challenges.
- Ensure all abovementioned activities are executed in line with agreed policies, best practices and standards within Eurofins.
Qualifications:
- Proven track record of managing complex IT Solutions deployment, transition or integration projects, preferably in a decentralized, international organization.
- Proven track record and skills in understanding business requirements and business processes in relation to IT.
- Strong customer focus and stakeholder management skills, with emphasis on effective governance and decision-making by business management as well as establishment of lasting, trusted partnerships.
- Proven analytical, organizational and problem-solving skills.
- Hands-on and pro-active project management style. Willingness and proven ability to dive into details when necessary on either IT- or business process-related topics.
- Commanding project leadership and follow-through.
