Position: Project Manager - Offshore Wind Renewable Energy Projects
Duties:
- Within the Renewable Energy and Technology Development Area, focused on offshore wind renewable energy (and others), the Project Manager will report to the Operations Manager and be responsible for managing and coordinating activities of the assigned projects and be the focal point for technical and design scopes for the client during the respective project execution stage.
- The main functions to be performed are:
Contribute to the preparation of the annual project action plan for the execution of the area's activities in line with what is established in the yearly activity plan.Carry out the planned actions and promote the execution of activities to be carried out in the area, maintaining a continuous and close relationship with the Business Development Manager and Business Unit Manager.Analyze proposals and determine the technical feasibility of these.Support the commercial activity for the technical preparation of offers, their review, and technical approval.Project opening, planning, follow-up, technical and economic execution of projects.Monitor the degree of compliance with the objectives of the area.Interlocution and focal point for the Client for technical aspects during project execution.Project management of scopes execution and delivery including: Managing the delivery of basic and detailed engineering and preparation of technical documentation and drawings (administrative and construction).CAPEX and OPEX assessment of offshore projects.The project management of design and engineering scopes including feasibility studies, calculations of structures and foundations, electrical and cable routing, geotechnical, port infrastructure, and site surveys.Specification of systems and equipment.Planning and budgetary and resource control of projects.Resource assessment and allocation.Control of schedules and milestones.Assurance of compliance with company and international standards of quality, environmental and safety.Profile: Resolute, organized, and dynamic person, who likes to work in a team.Academic background: Engineering degree - Naval/Mechanical/Civil or similar.Project Management Accreditation.Required professional experience:
Minimum 5 years in a similar position in the offshore wind area (Engineering consultancies, developers, EPC contractors, and other technological companies in the field of offshore energy).Languages: Required: English (a minimum level of C1 is required).Location: Madrid (Spain), in the city center, in our HQ.Geographic mobility:
