Cimssa is the newly acquired company that is part of the Operational Resources Management of Ferrovial Construcción, specialized in soil engineering work such as micropiling, anchoring, and soil treatment.
The strategic plan of Cimssa is to grow the business by providing greater support to Ferrovial Construcción in Spain and internationally, as well as growing in external clients (main contractors and engineering consultancies).
Funciones : Reporting to the Operations Manager, responsible for all operational areas of the projects under their responsibility (site management, production, site personnel, HSQE, operations, logistics, planning, and budgeting).
Ensure the highest standards of Health, Safety, Quality, and Environment.
Maintain a "Safety First" attitude throughout the project.
Preparation of project reports with main results, production, planning vs actual, milestones, etc.
Preparation of the project budget (MASTER, APO, PAS), monthly cost reports, deviation analysis, and implementation of mitigation measures.
Management of purchases and suppliers.
Production, comparative analysis, and selection of vendors and suppliers.
Management of machinery and equipment.
Client relations.
Collaboration with the Technical Department to identify value engineering opportunities that will provide cost savings and/or schedules.
Develop and maintain a working relationship with production managers at Ferrovial and auditors.
Requisitos : Master's or bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Engineering, Mining, or Construction Management.
Minimum 10 years of experience in managing civil engineering projects, preferably in soil engineering and special foundations.
Highly knowledgeable in managing all areas of a construction project.
Good leadership skills and experience in managing project teams (white-collar and blue-collar).
Good communication skills.
Preferred knowledge of English.
Competent use of operational software such as: MS Excel, MS Project, Word, Outlook, and PowerPoint.
National mobility.
A driving license is required.
