Project Manager Medical Molecular Imaging Group VHIR offers a vacant position for a Project Manager within an EU Horizon project focused on metabolic dysfunction managing data for AI tools for the personalized management of patients.

JOB DESCRIPTION Education and qualifications: Required: University Degree within Life Sciences A PhD will be valued Fluency in Catalan, Spanish, English (business level) Desired: Specific/Additional training in Project Management and/or managing data Advanced Microsoft Excel skills Experience and knowledge: Required: At least 2 years of experience working in research institutions in European project management related activities, in scientific and clinical environments. Previous experience in the coordination of European projects will be highly considered. Excellent written and oral communication in Spanish and English. Catalan is also desired. Good command of MS office and other computer tools. Personal skills: Well-organized, proactive, results-oriented professional with close attention to detail and the ability to work under tight deadlines and in multicultural teams. Team player with excellent interpersonal skills.

Main responsibilities and duties: The selected candidate will work as Project Manager, supporting the activities of the group in relation to the strategic EU project focused on handling data to obtain AI tools for managing metabolic disorders of patients from a personalized point of view.

Within the contribution of the project, day-to-day activities of the selected candidate might include:

To contribute to the planning and monitoring of the Work Plan (scope, resources, time management, etc.) of the tasks assigned in strong collaboration with PIs. To liaise with and support the PIs regarding communication with Project Partners and the WP teams, to ensure the proper implementation of Project activities. To support the internal and external communication of the project, participating in and supporting the organization of WP and project meetings as requested. To liaise with VHIR personnel for the monitoring of the project, in relation to the group contribution. Support in other tasks related to the preparation and drafting of project proposals and reports, financial management, meeting and events preparation, etc. Labour conditions: Full-time/Part-time position: 40h/week. Starting date: October 2024. Gross annual salary: Remuneration will depend on experience and skills. Salary ranges are consistent with our Collective Agreement pay scale.
