? What is the job about? The Project Manager is part of the Product Management Team and performs transversal activities within the System Development Teams.
The Project Manager leads the delivery phase of aerospace system projects subsequent to providing project planning expertise in the full project lifecycle.
? What will you do? Responsible for initiation, planning, execution, monitoring & controlling and closing of project milestones using the appropriate tools.Responsible for managing the customer projects deliverables identifying and managing actively opportunities, risks and issues to ensure effective resolution or mitigation, and coordinating required activities to ensure successful delivery.Coordinates the operational aspects of ongoing projects and serves as a liaison between project and team, finance, planning, scheduling and line management.Estimate the resources and participants needed to achieve project goals.Track and report project status relative to the project scope developing and delivering progress reports, proposals, required project documentation and presentations.Collaborate with architects and system engineers in order to ensure consistency and project excellence.Identify and resolve issues and conflicts within the team.Take part in the development of the functions and procedures of your own team performing project close-out and lessons learned activities as necessary.Get involved in the full system development life cycle.Collaborate with the business winning proposals.Provide assistance to other members of the team, including mentoring and advising junior members within the program.? What profile are we looking for? Required: Aerospace, Telecommunications, Electronics, or Industrial Engineering Master Degree.2+ years of experience with avionics products and project management.Specific knowledge in system engineering.Knowledge of office automation.Specific knowledge in project management (PMI or similar).A good understanding of Project Management knowledge areas.Project management experience.Experience delivering projects in communications, aerospace, space or defense industries.Fluent in written and oral English.As an ideal applicant for this opportunity, you'll have: Demonstrated Systems Engineering Experience coupled with engineering experience in a relevant discipline.Strong analytical skills.Strong communication skills and stakeholder management skills.Valuable: Experience in international projects.Knowledge of aerospace standards.Hardware/electronics understanding.Certified PMP or CAPM.?
