This individual will lead a team of support personnel and coordinate the resources required to launch new and complex projects with the goals of achieving timelines, staying within budget, and driving standardization within our network.
The Project Manager will manage medium to large capital projects with aggressive schedule commitments.
The Project Manager will lead and coordinate schedule of multiple internal business units and external vendors at the same time, as well as interface at all levels of the organization.Key ResponsibilitiesManage new and existing programs, successfully delivering difficult projects and goals across multiple organizationsPartner with other program managers to secure resources, scope efforts, set project priorities and milestones and drive deliveryOwn program communication, accelerating progress by driving crisp and timely decisions, clearing blockers (e.G., path to green), escalating as appropriateInfluence design and development of strategic processesWork with program managers and business leaders to communicate and impact critical business initiativesDevelop, implement, and govern the execution of all business, technical, fiscal, and administrative functions of the assigned program, project, or sub-taskProvide accountability while reporting on status, asking for help, and immediately escalating issues and problems as necessaryResponsible for overall project schedule that enables the teams to be successful based upon the project milestones and Go-LivePosition includes travel up to 50% (Nationwide)BASIC QUALIFICATIONS3+ years of program or project management experience3+ years of working cross functionally with tech and non-tech teams experience3+ years of defining and implementing process improvement initiatives using data and metrics experienceBachelor's degreeKnowledge of Excel (Pivot Tables, VLookUps) at an advanced level and SQLExperience defining program requirements and using data and metrics to determine improvementsPREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS3+ years of driving end to end delivery, and communicating results to senior leadership experience3+ years of driving process improvements experienceExperience in stakeholder management, dealing with multiple stakeholders at varied levels of the organizationExperience building processes, project management, and schedulesAcknowledgement of CountryIn the spirit of reconciliation, Amazon acknowledges the Traditional Custodians of country throughout Australia and their connections to land, sea and community.
