.We are looking for a Project Manager to join a dynamic team of Civil Engineers in need of a motivated and experienced Project Engineer. This role will focus on land development, municipal projects, and permitting. The successful candidate will play a pivotal role in ensuring the successful completion of projects while adhering to industry standards and regulatory requirements. Our client has a new office in Fort Collins, CO, and the leader there is a long-standing employee who is passionate about growing his team with the right individuals. This company is a civil engineering, surveying, planning, landscape architecture, and consulting firm.The role has a strong focus on land development in multi-family residential projects as well as commercial office and institutional projects. Candidates must have this background and be competent with design using Civil 3D. Municipal experience is a plus.Key Responsibilities: Lead and manage oil and gas permitting, land development, and municipal projects from initiation to completion.Coordinate with multidisciplinary teams including surveyors, environmental specialists, and other engineers.Ensure projects are delivered on time, within scope, and within budget.Prepare and submit oil and gas permits and related documentation in compliance with local, state, and federal regulations.Liaise with regulatory agencies to ensure all necessary permits and approvals are obtained.Oversee the design of land development projects, including residential, commercial, and industrial sites.Prepare site plans, grading plans, and utility layouts using Civil 3D and other relevant software.Engage with local municipalities to understand project requirements and expectations.Develop engineering solutions for municipal infrastructure projects, including roads, water supply, and wastewater systems.Maintain effective communication with clients, stakeholders, and team members.Participate in project meetings, provide technical expertise, and contribute to project decision-making.Prepare technical reports, engineering calculations, and presentations for clients and regulatory bodies.Maintain organized project files and documentation for future reference and audits.As the right person for this role you will: Excel at collaborating with a diverse team, coaching, and leading with a knack for adapting to different personalities and styles.Have a track record of building and nurturing strong client relationships.Be a confident communicator, both in speaking and writing.Effectively plan and deliver presentations that captivate and inform your audience.Be well-versed in navigating local, state, and federal regulations.Possess a solid understanding of business essentials like project control and fostering client relationships.Be familiar with the ins and outs of crafting compelling proposals.Have top-notch organizational skills and pride yourself on your attention to detail
