Project Manager for French Speaking Countries
Reports to: Area Director Technical Services

A.
General:
Provide support to Area Director Technical Services, focusing on certifying that each project will succeed not only on leased, managed, and franchised future opportunities but also in current operating hotels.
Is fully responsible for successfully managing, executing, completing, and handing over multiple design and construction projects (existing and new building hotels) ensuring that RHG standards are achieved in all properties.
Responsible for the compliance and fulfillment of RHG design guidelines in all new managed and franchised openings.
Look and feel execution control and reporting.
Ensure projects and construction control processes (Planning, budget control, implementation, and reporting) are monitored and controlled.
B.
Design and Technical Services:
New openings projects look and feel execution control and reporting to Area Director Technical Services and Corporate Senior Design Manager to confirm fulfillment with current design guidelines.
Business development initiative control and executive reporting.
Global budget control and approval.
Repositioning and new openings management control and coordination to comply with architectural and design guidelines, final product, standards, and procedures on BD projects following needs from area and central offices.
Feasibility report, refurbishments scope of works reviews according to BP for Repositioning and New Openings providing support to Assets and BD for negotiation proposals within current and new hotels.
C.
Main Responsibilities on Pipeline Projects:
Keep knowledge and control on all pipeline projects in preparation for handover to Operations.
Look and Feel design guidelines guardian.
Project management, execution control, delivery, providing technical support to negotiations to BD.
Key responsibilities include ensuring timely completion of projects within approved budgets on cost, resources without compromising on Quality & Safety using internal staff, as well as subcontractors and consultants.
Delivery of high-quality projects is a must.
D.
Operational Properties:
Provide direction and expertise to GMs and BD, to establish and manage projects in the most efficient way to comply with operations requirements and RHG technical standards.
Actively interact with HQ and ASO procurement for opportunities for projects and hotel operations.
Control hotel investment planning (projects, construction, maintenance, and energy efficiency capex initiatives), offering building (FLS & MEP) input, P&L/budget considerations, and value engineering, utilizing the Condition Surveys.
Maintain reporting and filing formats at ADTS, BD, GM: Project Milestones Documents as relevant, regular reporting to ADTS.
Input into development structured systems e.g.
SOP's best practices, Consultants/Suppliers database, notional development costs (build & MEP), new technologies etc.
for the Group and Area.
E.
Roles/Responsibilities:
1.
Maintain reporting and filing formats at Area office for projects and initiatives as well as regular reporting to Area Director Technical Services and Corporate Director Business Development complying with all Guidelines, products, standards, and procedures application on all projects.
2.
Support GM and BD to establish and manage an efficient and effective operation by continuous monitoring and mentoring in construction projects, R&M, P&L, KPI reviews.
3.
Drive and support all project initiatives to achieve Area and Hotel targets.
4.
Support Corporate Director Business Development on repositioning LRIP/Capex projects, procurement synergies, and value engineering when needed.
5.
Support pipeline delivery by providing expertise and professional Technical Services to ADTS, GMs, and others as relevant, primarily in the Pre-Opening Phase.
F.
Relevant factors which determine whether you are successful in your position:
1.
Successful completion and handover to operational team of all pipeline/major capex projects with outcomes that reach or exceed all stakeholders' expectations.
2.
Support area office for all properties ensuring safe and well-maintained hotels that provide guest comfort and a safe working environment.
3.
Successful implementation of Radisson strategy, initiatives, and tools e.g.
Construction Project Management tools, Procurement Strategy, R&M initiatives, and Condition Surveys.
4.
Achieve the Think Planet saving targets, by Area and hotels.
G.
Job requirements and qualifications:
Minimum education: National academic qualifications in Architectural degree or Technical Degree.
Minimum experience: Extensive hotel experience, 5-10 years.
Language skills: Excellent written and spoken French and English skills are essential; other languages desirable but not key.
Required certificates: Certified architectural or technical degree.
