YesOffer Description The Barcelona Institute for Global Health (ISGlobal) is a cutting-edge institute addressing global public health challenges through research, translation into policy and education. ISGlobal has a broad portfolio in communicable and non-communicable diseases including environmental and climate determinants, and applies a multidisciplinary scientific approach ranging from the molecular to the population level. Research is organized in five programs: Climate, Air Pollution, Nature and Urban Health; Environment and Health over the Lifecourse; Global Viral and Bacterial Infections; Malaria and Neglected Parasitic Diseases and Maternal Child and Reproductive Health. ISGlobal is accredited with the Severo Ochoa distinction, a seal of excellence of the Spanish Science Ministry.What We Are Looking for:ISGlobal is seeking a dedicated and empathetic Patient Involvement Project Manager to join our team and support the eQUOL project, which focuses on the experiences and unmet needs of children, adolescents, and young adult cancer survivors with neurocognitive impairments. In this role, you will be responsible for fostering active participation among patients and caregivers, ensuring their voices shape the development of e-health tools that address their specific needs and challenges. Your role will involve coordinating with multidisciplinary teams across Europe to facilitate patient-centered insights, guiding participatory research practices, and maintaining strong relationships with diverse stakeholders.TRAINING AND EXPERIENCE /QUALIFICATIONSEducational Background: A degree in healthcare management, social sciences, public health, psychology, or a related field. A postgraduate qualification or certification in patient involvement, or participatory research is advantageous.Patient Involvement Experience: At least 3 years of experience in patient involvement or public engagement within healthcare or research settings, ideally involving work with vulnerable or diverse populations, such as adolescents and young adults with cognitive impairments.Project Management Skills: Demonstrated experience in managing and coordinating projects, including developing timelines, managing resources, and ensuring delivery of project milestones.Qualitative Research Knowledge: Familiarity with qualitative research methods such as focus groups, interviews, and thematic analysis, including experience in data collection and analysis for patient-centered or participatory research
