Project Manager

We are currently partnering with a leading global consulting and engineering company that is looking for experienced data centre professionals to join their team. Our client is working with many major developers in the data centre space and requires a MEP Project Manager for their Spanish location.Our client offers strategic, tactical, and operational advice to a variety of entities, including colocation data centres, internet service providers, and telecom companies. Their team is composed of experts in diverse fields such as electrical engineering, mechanical engineering, construction, civil engineering, structure, building, architecture, fire safety, control engineering, and security technology.ResponsibilitiesManaging and leading large-scale projects in a multi-stakeholder environment throughout a complete project life cycle, supporting our customers' multinational clients to make the best value decisions.Developing, leading, and managing the team during project development and delivery.Initiating projects together with clients, coordinating stakeholder input, analyzing and appraising production solutions, preparing project briefs & business cases, and gaining the necessary approvals within the client's organization.Be in charge of all project controls: e.G. planning, cost control, project administration, and contract management.Operating in an international context (anticipate short, medium, and long-term travel).Leading projects with short lead times.Coordinating and working with people and subcontractors of the local culture, as our clients' projects are in Europe & Africa.Monitoring project progress, identifying potential risks or issues, and developing mitigation strategies to ensure successful project completion.Coordinating project resources, including internal team members, external vendors, and subcontractors, to ensure seamless project execution.RequirementsA background from a Technical University (civil, mechanical, electrical).Over 6 years of experience in the management of multidisciplinary design and engineering and construction projects, preferably in the data centres or other relevant sectors.Affinity with digital and automated design and engineering processes (BIM360, CDE).Excellent knowledge of the English language (and language local to office location).Previous employment by a design and engineering company would be an advantage.If this role is of interest to you, please apply now!#J-18808-Ljbffr
