We are seeking a Project Manager to join our P&DS department.
What this job involves
We are seeking an experienced Project Manager to lead and oversee various projects from inception to completion. The ideal candidate will be responsible for planning, executing, and finalizing projects according to strict deadlines and within budget. This includes coordinating the efforts of team members and third-party contractors or consultants to deliver projects according to plan.
Define project scope, goals, and deliverables in collaboration with senior management and stakeholders according to clients' procedures.
Develop full-scale project plans and associated communications documents.
Effectively communicate project expectations to team members and stakeholders in a timely and clear fashion.
Draft and submit budget proposals and recommend subsequent budget changes where necessary.
Determine and assess need for additional staff and/or consultants and make appropriate recommendations to senior management.
Set and continually manage project expectations with team members and other stakeholders.
Identify and resolve issues and conflicts within the project team.
Plan and schedule project timelines and milestones using appropriate tools.
Track project milestones and deliverables.
Develop and deliver progress reports, proposals, requirements documentation, and presentations.
Proactively manage changes in project scope, identify potential crises, and devise contingency plans.
Desired skills and experience for this job
Education in Architect/Technical Architect, Engineer, or similar.
3 years' experience in a similar position.
5 years' experience in the construction sector.
Experience seeing projects through the full life cycle.
Proven ability to complete projects according to outlined scope, budget, and timeline.
Essential knowledge of CTE and standards/regulations.
Ability to collaborate and work as part of a team.
Strong communication skills and management of multidisciplinary work teams.
Excellent analytical skills are required to detect errors or possible problems, as well as the ability to search for and propose solutions.
Experience in dealing directly with clients.
Good level of spoken and written English is essential.
Good level of use of Excel, PowerPoint, AutoCAD, Project, TCQ/Presto is required.
Organized in analysis, structured in reporting and transmission of information. Judicious in conclusions and prioritization of needs.
