We are looking for a project manager to work on an international project in the banking sector.
Solid experience of Scrum/Agile development techniques and tools.Work experience with application development and/or analysis (preferably within banking sector) from an operational, functional and/or technical point of view, over a significant part of the project or the development, implementation, or maintenance cycle.Execution of application programming, analysis, operation or maintenance tasks, preferably within the banking sector.Knowledge of Project Management Methodologies, principles and tools, as well as their integration with the related delivery methodologies.Work as part of a cross-functional team.Nice to have: Salesforce experience.Certification in agile methodologies and practices.What will your day to day be like? You will work within a squad comprising of Product Owners, Analysts, Developers, Testers, Release Managers and Infrastructure Support teams.The ideal candidate will come from a technical background, be able to collaborate with cross functional teams and communicate technical/business requirements by constructing easy to understand data and process models.Managing Risk & Applying Control: Able to contribute and own project ORAs.Run meetings with risk.Ensure working relationship with operations teams so that technical solution will fit with control processes.Provide comprehensive information to supervisors on time in case of appearance of difficulties for risk elimination or mitigation.Promotes and encourages good culture and behaviours personally and across the Team, in line with I AM Risk.Identifies, assesses, manages, and reports risks, taking proactive personal responsibility for 'doing the right thing' in compliance with regulatory requirements and our frameworks and policies.Progresses specific actions that could minimise or mitigate risks identified (e.g., conduct risk, operational risk, credit risk etc.) and ensures 100% completion of mandatory training and any other role specific training required.People: Strong verbal communication skills.Able to run key agile ceremonies.Weekly/monthly reporting.No supervisory responsibility but is designated to give on-the-job training guidance and support to new team members.Becoming a role model for behaviour in accordance with company culture. Demonstrates a strong work ethic and accountability.Customer: Uses best practices and knowledge of internal or external business issues to improve products/services or processes to suit customer needs.Create and deliver presentations.Work with product owner to groom the backlog.Contribute to the development of project estimates as required.Initiate the required tasks as assigned, monitor the implementation of the project plan and take action to address performance shortfalls.Commercial: Direct impact by ensuring the quality of the task/services/information provided by self and others.
