Summary: The Project Manager will lead the engagement and will support the Senior Project Success Executive to ensure the successful deployment of first engagement solutions, and the repeat deployment of future solutions. This position will be responsible for customer relationship management, project coordination, and project management. The Project Manager will collaborate with multiple teams to ensure timelines and deliveries of customer projects are executed flawlessly.
Partner with a Project Success Executive lead in partnership with Product Engineering and Management, Commercial Team, Sales Engineering, Project Engineering, Project Coordination, Product Commissioning to drive the design and development of BESS (Battery Energy Storage Systems) projects with key customersEstablish a close working relationship with key internal stakeholders (Sales, Engineering, Service) to find the right balance between what our customers want and what works best with our productsCommunicate limitations clearly, manage expectations proactively, and establish a working plan with our customers and our internal team to drive customer satisfactionDevelop customer relationships that promote retention and future business opportunitiesResponsible for actively driving towards target project margin and scheduleFacilitate effective team dynamics among project team (including Project Engineer, Project Controls Coordinator, Commissioning Engineer, Site Lead, P&L Manager, etc.) for effective delivery of a high-quality customer experienceDevelop and maintain detailed project schedules in Microsoft ProjectManage and support the management of customer project development on ProCore platformInterface with Legal and Finance resources as necessary for effective management of budget and riskMonitor and release customer invoices based upon contractual milestones in NetSuite ensuring that the Project Success Executive is aware of progress payments and contractual requirementsProvide first level review of service provider invoices and identify invoice coding that is in line with budget and financial reportingProcess purchase requests in NetSuite and follow-up on purchase order generation and monitor the status of material orders and their receivingWork closely with all members of Project Success team on the preparation of key monthly reports, develop, maintain required tracking and reporting data filesControl, collect and archive project documentation (contracts, invoices, scope changes, etc..) and site documentation (daily reports, non-conformity reports, transport plans, lifting plans, bill of lading etc.)Assist Lead Coordinator with training and mentorship of Project CoordinatorsPerforms other duties as assignedQualifications: Bachelor's degree, Engineering (preferred) or equivalent education and experienceMinimum 5-7 years' related work experience4-5 years' experience in a coordinator role, or combined 3 years of energy storage, distributed generation, data center equipment, or large-scale electrical equipment experienceExperience with ProCore or other Construction Management software is a plusPMP or an equivalent certification is a plusExperience handling a complex customer environment and understand a complex product definition and delivery processExperience in Technical Sales or Customer Account ManagementExperience in Contract and Scope Negotiation, Customer Requirements definition, Project DevelopmentFamiliarity with RFPs, as well as construction management terminology and principlesHighly organized and detail-oriented, works with a sense of urgencyProficiency with Microsoft software, specifically Excel and OutlookExperience using NetSuite (or equivalent) MM, PS, DMS and QS modules, is highly preferredStrong planning and organizational skills with high attention to detailDemonstrated ability to effectively prioritize and manage multiple tasks concurrentlyAbility to work independently and as a part of a teamAbility to act quickly and work well under pressure and tight deadlinesAbility to think outside the box when faced with challengesProficient in Microsoft Office Suites, some experience with MS Project (or other scheduling software)Ability to fluently speak, read and write EnglishPowin is not accepting resumes from unsolicited headhunters or agencies at this time.
