Job Description
Oil & Gas Company is looking for a Project Manager. The project is located in Saudi Arabia on a rotational basis with 6 days of work for 10 hours each day, and the contract will be for 12 months, renewable.
Role Description
Mission
Ensure the governance of projects and initiatives in terms of organizational, financial, technological, and contractual aspects, assuring the achievement of the established objectives.
Plan, coordinate, and control the execution of the project in accordance with the Client requirements, within time and cost constraints, and in compliance with HSE and Quality procedures.
Achieve profit objectives ensuring the observance of Saipem procedures and practices.
Tasks
During the Bidding Phase:
Identify Tender Documents requirements and constraints which may prevent successful project execution.
Ensure the definition and preparation of the Project Execution Plan addressing potential risks in all critical areas.
Support the Proposal Manager in defining the Work Breakdown Structure.
Estimate Project home office and site management resources and prepare the Organization Charts and the Project Mobilization Plan.
Provide necessary support to the Proposal Manager for negotiation/clarification with Client and/or Partners.
During the Project Execution Phase:
Represent Saipem towards Clients, Licensors, Partners, and Subcontractors managing contractual aspects.
Ensure the proper analysis and review of contractual documents.
Ensure the implementation of methodologies related to risk/opportunity, knowledge management, and lessons learned.
Supervise all project activities regarding Quality, HSE, and Sustainability topics.
Negotiate with the Client to reach agreement on outstanding pricing, commercial, contractual, and technical aspects.
Ensure the issue of project reports to the Client.
Monitor final back charges to be applied to any third party.
Ensure the collection of project feedback issuing final project reports.
Ensure the assistance to the Client during the guarantee period.
Requirements
At least 10 to 15 years of experience.
Bachelor's Degree or Master's Degree in Law is preferred, or a legal background.
Previous experience with an EPC Company/Contractor.
Preferable experience with mega projects (>$1 billion USD) for at least 2 consecutive years.
Proven experience in managing complex claims/disputes.
Familiar with internal reporting.
Below the age of 60 (mandatory).
Experience in the Oil & Gas Field and in this position.
Fluent in English.
