Overview: As a Project Manager in the automation and intralogistics sector, you will be responsible for overseeing the successful execution of multiple projects that improve the efficiency and automation of logistics operations, such as automated storage, material handling, and distribution systems. Your role will involve coordinating cross-functional teams, managing project budgets, schedules, and deliverables, while also being the main point of contact for clients. With extensive experience in the intralogistics sector, you will ensure that automation systems meet client requirements, stay within project scope, and adhere to timelines.
This position requires a dynamic leader who can manage multidisciplinary teams, negotiate effectively with customers, and address challenges proactively. You will be instrumental in driving continuous improvement processes, ensuring all projects are executed smoothly while exceeding customer expectations. Your expertise in automation and intralogistics, combined with strong negotiation and leadership skills, will help ensure the successful deployment of cutting-edge solutions.
Key Responsibilities: Oversee the planning, execution, and delivery of multiple automation projects within the intralogistics sector.Develop detailed project plans, timelines, and budgets, ensuring all deliverables are completed on time and within budget.Lead cross-functional teams including engineers, designers, and operational staff.Assign tasks, monitor progress, and manage performance to ensure project goals are met.Act as the primary point of contact for customers throughout the project lifecycle.Lead negotiations with customers regarding project scope, budgets, and schedules.Identify potential risks or challenges related to project execution (e.g., supply chain issues, engineering constraints) and develop mitigation strategies.Continuously review and optimize project management processes to increase efficiency and productivity.Prepare regular status reports, project updates, and presentations for both internal stakeholders and clients.Ensure that all deliverables meet the required standards and specifications.Required Qualifications: 5 years of experience in project management, specifically within the intralogistics or automation sector.Experience working with automated systems (e.g., conveyor systems, warehouse robotics, sorting systems) and understanding of intralogistics processes.Strong leadership and team management skills, with experience leading multidisciplinary teams.Excellent customer-facing and negotiation skills, able to manage expectations and ensure customer satisfaction.English C1 level or above; additional languages are an advantage.Think it could be interesting for you?
