The Project Manager participates in projects and leads small scale projects or a subset of a larger project with guidance. Project responsibilities may include documenting business requirements, assisting with creating end-user test cases and user acceptance testing. Project implementation responsibilities may include contributing to project planning and coordination. Partners across the project team to support the implementation and change management approach.
We are seeking an enthusiastic and organized Project Manager to join our growing team. In this role, you will play a vital part in supporting the successful planning, execution, and delivery of various projects. You will work closely with Project Managers, team members, and stakeholders to ensure projects stay on track, meet deadlines, and achieve their goals.
Your role As a Project Manager your main responsibilities will involve: Participate in implementation of solutions and applications, including planning and coordination.Assist with change management planning and execution (e.g., training, communication, etc.).Develop and maintain project documentation and project materials (e.g., governance documentation, meeting materials, issue log).Prepare and maintain project documentation, reports, and presentations.Assist in project planning and development, including creating project schedules, timelines, and budgets.Coordinate and manage project tasks, delegating work to team members and monitoring progress.Track project risks and develop mitigation strategies.Identify and resolve project issues proactively.Stay up to date on project management methodologies and best practices.Provide insight and analysis and execute plans as required under the guidance of an experienced project lead.Communicate effectively with project stakeholders, including team members, clients, and senior management.Apply knowledge of the business processes, products, services, and applications to provide educated recommendations for improvements.Conduct research, analysis, and interpretation of technology and operational issues.Under supervision, participate in business requirements, user test cases or user acceptance test cases.Your Skills and Experience As a Project Manager your skills and qualifications will ideally include: Bachelor's degree in project management, business administration, or a related field ideally within an IT background (or equivalent experience).1-2 years of experience in project management or a related field (or relevant internship experience).Proven understanding of project management principles, methodologies and tooling (e.g., Scrum, Kanban, Waterfall, MS Project, MS Azure DevOps).Ability to prioritize tasks, manage multiple deadlines, and work effectively under pressure.Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).Proficient communication skills in written and spoken English.Good self-management skills and stress resilience.Highly organized with particularly good attention to detail.Excellent organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills.Team player who is skilled at building up and managing stakeholder relationships.Proven ability to work in a multi-cultural environment.Spanish and German language skills are a plus.Sound knowledge of the insurance industry, ideally Commercial Insurance is of advantage.Option to work remotely within Spain even up to 100% - you choose; with option to work abroad up to 25 days yearly.Over 300 euros net to set up your home office and additional monthly home office allowance.Wide range of internal and external trainings, including free English, German and Spanish classes depending on the needs.Ticket restaurant or flexibility to exchange it for other benefits.Life, accident, and Health Insurance.Collective Life Retirement Plan.2000 referral bonus if you bring other talented people like you.Special banking and insurance conditions plus Exclusive Employees discounts.Functional diversity benefits.Events: summer and Christmas party, different activities like hiking, investment, beach volley club and many more.No dress code.Primary work location is Barcelona, Poblenou.
