Development of the relationships with the customers, participants and supplier.Supports the execution of business in keeping with the defined congress strategy, workflow, and guiding principles.Reports to: PCO Team leader.Preparing and monitoring budget for the congressCreating the marketing strategy for the congressDatabase management, setup, and updates in our event softwareCoordination with suppliers and negotiationOnsite support during congresses (abroad)Regular reporting internally and externallyUnderstanding the complexity of the scientific programManaging the team within the projectSupports Client Relations Executive in sales actions.Executes market research for the topics of: source market trends, source market competition, destination market competition, destination market trends, product ideas and descriptionsFinancial management of the congressDevelop a strong knowledge of the congress suppliersGain profound experience in applying execution excellence principlesPersonal development in project managementLearn Congress software and be able to use all its functionalitiesFollows all processes, procedures, and training as required by the department, Kuoni Tumlare Congress organizationSupports the integration of sustainability into the division's workflow, providing feedback and support to the Sustainability Manager where necessary.Considers the environmental, social, and economic impact of office/business activities and attempts to combat any negative resultsEnsure all business activities comply with relevant financial, industry compliance, legislative, legal demands, and ethical standards of the organisationTo Succeed in the Role, You Should Have:Bachelor's degree in hospitality / business administration / marketing / event management/ data management/project managementFluency in English and at least 1 or 2 other European languages ( French, German, Spanish)Strong IT literacyProblem-solving skillsTime management, flexibilityProject management skillsOpen-mindedness and ability to learn new thingsCustomer focus attitudeExperience with PCO and association business is a plusA clear communicator who is ambitious, hardworking and creative mindedA bright, quick, pro-active decision maker with strong people skills who can adapt quickly to the company's operating environment and capture the trust and respect of colleagues and external key stake holders at all levels and in all geographiesA disciplined thinker and analytical problem solver who has the capacity to manage complex issues and develop effective solutions in a timely fashionA hands-on team player, willing to get involved in broader leadership issues, with key focus on solving the requirements driven from the global sales organisation
