About the Role: Organizer all aspects of Congress management from A-Z.
Development of the relationships with the customers, participants and supplier.
Supports the execution of business in keeping with the defined congress strategy, workflow, and guiding principles.
Reports to: PCO Team leader.
Preparing and monitoring budget for the congress Creating the marketing strategy for the congress Database management, setup, and updates in our event software Coordination with suppliers and negotiation Onsite support during congresses (abroad) Regular reporting internally and externally Understanding the complexity of the scientific program Managing the team within the project Supports Client Relations Executive in sales actions.
Executes market research for the topics of: source market trends, source market competition, destination market competition, destination market trends, product ideas and descriptions Financial management of the congress Develop a strong knowledge of the congress suppliers Gain profound experience in applying execution excellence principles Personal development in project management Learn Congress software and be able to use all its functionalities Follows all processes, procedures, and training as required by the department, Kuoni Tumlare Congress organization Supports the integration of sustainability into the division's workflow, providing feedback and support to the Sustainability Manager where necessary.
Considers the environmental, social, and economic impact of office/business activities and attempts to combat any negative results Ensure all business activities comply with relevant financial, industry compliance, legislative, legal demands, and ethical standards of the organisation To Succeed in the Role, You Should Have: Bachelor's degree in hospitality / business administration / marketing / event management/ data management/project management Fluency in English and at least 1 or 2 other European languages (French, German, Spanish) Strong IT literacy Problem-solving skills Time management, flexibility Project management skills Open-mindedness and ability to learn new things Customer focus attitude Experience with PCO and association business is a plus A clear communicator who is ambitious, hardworking and creative minded A bright, quick, pro-active decision maker with strong people skills who can adapt quickly to the company's operating environment and capture the trust and respect of colleagues and external key stakeholders at all levels and in all geographies A disciplined thinker and analytical problem solver who has the capacity to manage complex issues and develop effective solutions in a timely fashion A hands-on team player, willing to get involved in broader leadership issues, with key focus on solving the requirements driven from the global sales organization #J-18808-Ljbffr
