Role and Responsibilities As Signalling Systems Engineer, you will play a crucial role in assessing signalling projects, applying your technical expertise for both onboard and trackside subsystems.
You will also participate actively in tests campaigns and audits activities, acting as an independent witnesser and technical expert.
Performs the assessment activities for a range of signalling projects according to the assessment plan and the applicable standards.Performs documentation review, tests witnessing, and writing of technical reports.Provides your specific technical expertise to evaluate evidence provided by clients.Interacts with our customers and with the national or European Railway authorities.Reports functionally to the Project managers and hierarchically to the Head of the Signalling department.Applies the procedures as defined in the quality management system of the company and is acquainted with procedures, forms, and instructions transmitted to the Company and the CERTIFER GROUP.Monitors legislations and keeps informed about standards evolutions at national and European levels. We are looking for an experienced Engineer: With a profound understanding and practical experience in the railway or guided transport (metro, tramway) sector:With a Master university degree (or equivalent) and with 3 years of proven professional relevant experience in the Railway Control Command and Signalling domain, or:With a Bachelor university degree (or equivalent) and with 5 years of proven professional relevant experience in the Railway Control Command and Signalling domain.A proven experience as assessor in a Conformity Assessment Body (DeBo/NoBo) is an asset.Technical knowledge of European or National Railways regulations.
