About the Role As a Project Manager, you will have full responsibility for planning, managing, and delivering large international projects.
You will work closely with the PMO, Operations, and Sales teams to ensure success.
The role involves risk management, budget control, and maintaining strong client relationships.
While based in Barcelona, you will collaborate with the team at the headquarters in Mölndal, Sweden, and with clients in Latin America and the Mediterranean region.
Key Responsibilities After an introduction to the products and processes, your main responsibilities will include: Defining project scope, risks, and budgets.
Conducting financial analyses and reviewing contracts from technical and commercial perspectives.
Overseeing international logistics, including shipments and necessary documentation.
Collaborating with clients in sectors such as water treatment, automotive, and mining.
Leading intercultural meetings to strengthen client relationships.
Occasionally traveling to supervise projects and meet key clients.
What We're Looking For Education: Degree in engineering (mechanical, electrical, environmental, or a related field).
Experience: At least 5 years of experience managing complex international projects.
Proven skills in budget control, contract management, and risk handling.
Languages: Professional fluency in Spanish and English is required.
Additional languages are a plus.
Certification: A project management certification (e.g., PMP) is highly valued.
Personal Attributes: Structured, socially skilled, and able to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
Ideally, you have a market-focused mindset and financial understanding.
Additional Information Start Date: As soon as possible, with up to 3 months' notice period.
Location: Barcelona, with occasional travel to Sweden and other countries.
Workload: Full-time, with flexible hours based on project needs.
Contract: Permanent contract under Sulzer Spain's employment terms.
