What's the Role About?
We're looking for a dynamic and ambitious Project Engineer to join our Barcelona office. This role is perfect for someone with 3 to 5 years of experience who is eager to take their career to the next level by working on exciting and diverse projects, ranging from small improvements to large industrial constructions.
Your Impact:
As a Senior Project Engineer at Group IPS, you'll be at the heart of our projects, ensuring high-quality delivery within budget and schedule. You'll engage in various phases including strategic consulting, project feasibility, preparation, and realization, directly contributing to innovative industrial projects.
Your Experience:
Project documentation and control, cost management, scheduling, and construction supervision.
End-to-end project life cycle management: master planning, feasibility, permitting, civil works, contracting, and construction supervision.
Experience in the Food & Beverages sector and industrial environment projects (process engineering, equipment, mechanics, instrumentation, automation).
Familiarity with civil works, building utilities, and process utilities.
Permitting and procurement experience is a plus.
Valuable experience in mid to large projects (>1M€ / >10M€).
RequirementsIndustrial engineer with a specialization in Industrial Organization, Chemicals or Bio-Chemicals, Mechanical (or similar).
Experience in industrial projects with a focus on process engineering; equipment, mechanics, instrumentation, automation, etc.
More than 5 years of relevant experience in industrial projects. Experience in Food and Beverages or Biotech industries is a plus.
Fluency in English and Spanish is a must; French or German is an asset.
Driver's License B.
Proficient in MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, MS Project, and AutoCAD.
Global mindset, results-oriented, challenging, and pragmatic.
Proactive with leadership skills.
Full-time on-site role in Barcelona with national mobility depending on the project.
