We're a collaborative and dynamic international team, passionate about driving impact through our work, celebrating our achievement, and having fun along the way.Let's talk about the roleRMIT Europe is seeking an experienced and highly motivated Project Manager to implement the AUFRANDE grant (a five years EU project within the Horizon Europe). Working in close collaboration with other staff at RMIT Europe (EU Projects Office, Operations and Communications Team and other MSCA Project Managers), the Project Manager will:Implement all tasks foreseen in the Grant Agreement in a timely manner and ensure that all obligations are met.Actively engage with all project's partners (in France and Australia) and act as the liaison with the EU Project Officer.Liaise with the School of Graduate Research at RMIT University to ensure that all RMIT processes and procedures for doctoral researchers are correctly implemented in Europe.About the team:You'll be joining an ambitious (and fun-loving) team of experienced professionals who are passionate about making a difference and delivering real impact. Benefits of working at RMIT Europe include hybrid working arrangements, flexible salary benefits (transport, health insurance, childcare, and restaurants) and free languages classes.We want to hear from you if you have:Demonstrated strong European project management experience in Marie Sklodowska Curie Actions (MSCA) in particular COFUND and/or ITN projects.Demonstrated strong experience in working with and managing doctoral programmes and associated academic office functions in Europe (selection and recruitment, training, supervisor training, etc.).Demonstrated organizational and analytical skills including ability to meet strict deadlines, prioritise and multi-task across a portfolio of projects.Demonstrated ability to work effectively both independently and autonomously (with minimal supervision) and as a member of a multi-disciplinary and agile team to meet project outcomes and milestones.Experience working with international partners or teams across multiple cultures and time zones.Strong stakeholder engagement skills including ability to create and maintain relationships with a large number of partners in academia and industry.Excellent communication skills (both written and oral) including strong reporting and presentation skills.Impeccable attention to details and rigor, results-oriented, problem-solving attitude, flexibility, and ability to take own initiatives.What will you be accountable for?As directed by the Senior Manager, EU Project Office:Lead the implementation of the AUFRANDE project ensuring the delivery of all tasks and the submission of deliverables and reports in a timely manner as foreseen in the grant agreement.Monitor the project's budget and coordinate the preparation and submission of financial reports in collaboration with RMIT Europe's Finance Team.Develop, implement and monitor a risk management and mitigation plan to ensure compliance with the grant agreement.Ensure that partners comply with their reporting obligations to RMIT Europe, in anticipation of possible audits.Manage the selection process, including preparation of the call documents (e.g., Guide for Applicants, Position Descriptions, etc.), publication and dissemination of the calls, establishment of the selection panels, eligibility checks, rankings, interviews, final offers and any appeals.Support the appointment and onboarding of selected researchers at partner's universities in France.Liaise effectively with the EU project officer, European and Australian partners and other relevant stakeholders to secure an optimal communication flow and an appropriate monitoring of the progress of the project.Oversee the general progress of fellows, including collection of reports, the training and career development plans and communicate regularly with them and their supervisors.Coordinate the organisation of the training schools, final conference and other network-wide activities and ensure an appropriate delivery.
