BCNatal | Fetal Medicine Research Center is conducting a research project to develop an artificial placenta, which involves animal experimentation. We are looking for a passionate individual to work as Project Manager/Assistant Project Manager to perform a key position.Context: BCNatal | Fetal Medicine Research Center, directed by Prof. Eduard Gratacós, is a multidisciplinary research centre in fetal and perinatal medicine, recognised as one of the world's best research teams in the field. Accredited by the Spanish government as an excellence research centre, it works to find solutions to diseases of prenatal origin. The centre is ranked among the top international research groups in maternal-fetal medicine. Project Manager's responsibilities include to overlook the project as a whole and track the different subprojects, to ensure compliance with the planned goals, by means of standard methodology (i.e. agile or similar). This role also includes coordinating with different teams to ensure projects are completed on time. The PM will also be responsible for performing administrative tasks such as managing invoices, HR, building estimates and scheduling meetings as needed. Ultimately, the PM is presumed to work with various teams and stakeholders to monitor project progress and provide oversight to ensure projects are completed promptly and within budget.Main duties and responsibilities:Help coordinate tasks, deliverables and data analysis, as well as administrative duties such as setting up meetings or drafting job offers to ensure that everything goes according to plan.Maintain documentation up to date and organized (including Gantt diagram and costs).Perform a global follow-up of the project status and achieved milestones.Help and assist the PMO by helping with planning and execution to ensure that the projects run smoothly from start to finish.Transfer the goals defined to the team and ensure its compliance (active follow-up).Foresee potential deviations and plan contingencies.Write/collaborate on writing of reports (internal and external), additional proposals, presentations, and documentation on regular basis and ad hoc.Schedule and organize follow up meetings.Oversee and make sure that experiments are properly planned and conducted.Assist with the hiring processes and purchases within the project.Oversee, assist in the creation and keep updated and classified the project's Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and Data Bases (DBs).Prepare/collaborate on getting the documentation for the Ethics Committee.Develop and maintain an efficient data management system to ensure prompt and accurate processing of the project data.Ensure prompt and efficient response to queries (daily trouble shooting), acknowledging all communication, and ensuring efficient flow of information.We offer you:Participate in an innovative project in constant technological update.Have a competitive salary according to your profile for this position.Have a flexible timetable, with the support you need to conciliate and balance your personal and professional life.Be part of an expert, young, dynamic, innovative and enthusiastic team united by a common purpose, to improve extreme preterm newborns prognosis.A professional work environment, which is really distinguished by our humanity and closeness.
