Pronovias Group, the global leader in the Bridal industry, **is looking for a dynamic PMO Manager to join our team and set-up a PMO practice to lead and manage all strategic project activities.**
This position will be a highly visible role with exposure to the CEO and Executive Committee and will require a fair amount of Project Management, Governance and Financial related knowledge.
Among other things, t**he PMO Manager will have the skills to prioritize, manage and control all tasks that will guarantee that projects will be on track and within budget raising risks and proposed mitigation actions when necessary.**
Therefore, this newly created position, will require excellent communication skills at multiple levels across the organization.
**_RESPONSIBILITIES_**:
- Create a PMO office, its governance (e.g., templates, meetings), policies and processes, to define and track strategic projects at the corporate level
- Collaborate with department leaders to capture and define needs, prioritize initiatives, and allocate resources appropriately, guaranteeing the existing roadmap is delivered
- Manage the strategic project roadmap, supporting the prioritization of initiatives, selecting, and coordinating project managers, setting up deadlines, allocating resources, and planning deliverables
- Document new projects, objective, scope, budget, and need, planning its execution and deliverables
- Create and analyze budget needs with the support of business areas guaranteeing projects stay in budget
- Manage projects, when requested, identifying risks and potential mitigation actions
- Define a Demand Management process to guarantee that despite new initiatives being defined the existing roadmap and deliverables are not compromised
- Lead a PMO committee in which status updates and shared and discussed at the Exco level; include financial reports and project outlines if requested
- Defend the need for specific resources in an Investment Committee in alignment with Financial guidelines
- Communicate effectively across the organization and create reports that are shared to key stakeholders
- Oversee the project progress and ensure that team members are carrying out their tasks efficiently
- Use corporate Project Planning tools to document, track and share information with other team members
- Proven work experience as a Project Management Officer or similar role; ideally consulting background
- Relevant training as a Project Management Officer; certifications are a plus
- Fluent in English and Spanish
- Strong leadership skills with ability to communicate at the Executive Committee level
- Good written and verbal communication skills, adapting the message to different stakeholders
- Strong attention to details, good balance of strategic and operational requirements
- Excellent organizational and technical abilities
- Good financial knowledge with experience in defining budgets
- Good interpersonal and multi-tasking skills
