This position will report to the Team Leader and senior advisor for international partnerships inside the BSC Director's Office. The main task will be to assist the team leader in exploring opportunities internationally with a special focus on regions and countries strategic for BSC, such as South America and the Caribbean, Japan, India, the US, and south Mediterranean countries.Key DutiesExplore and identify potential international partnerships in line with the BSC objectives and interests.Organise meetings and conference calls with potential international partners.Draft collaboration proposals and help define responses to EU and other funding agencies.Support the Team Leader in his activities in projects in which he is the BSC PI.Draft project deliverables and reports, monitor the project budget.Coordinate consortium meetings.Keep the project documentation in order and prepared to be audited by internal and external authorities.Liaise with the other BSC departments, such as Communications, Legal, Education and scientific departments, to incubate and run international and EU-funded projects.Manage the international schools that the TL leader directs, such as the ACM HPC summer school in Barcelona and the ACM HPC ASEAN school in South East Asia.RequirementsEducationBachelor degree in related disciplines or equivalent experienceEssential Knowledge and Professional ExperienceAt least 5 years experience in managerial roles in international projects.Proven ability to draft proposals and answer EU and other funding agencies' RFPs.Proven ability to coordinate the drafting and review of EU project deliverables.Experience in organizing and running international events
