We are looking for you to work as PMO Lead!As a PMO (Project Management Office) Lead, you will oversee IT project management processes and practices to ensure alignment with strategic objectives and drive project delivery excellence. You will be responsible for establishing and maintaining standards, methodologies, and governance frameworks to support project management activities. This role requires strong leadership skills, project management expertise, and the ability to collaborate effectively with stakeholders at all levels.What will you do?Develop and implement project management methodologies, standards, and best practices within the PMO to drive consistency and efficiency across projects.Lead a team of project managers, providing support to ensure successful project delivery.Establish project governance structures, including project charters, governance boards, and decision-making processes, to ensure alignment with Avolta's goals and objectives.Define and maintain project management tools, templates, and documentation to support project planning, execution, and reporting.Monitor project performance and compliance with established processes, identifying areas for improvement and implementing corrective actions as needed.Facilitate regular project status meetings, reviews, and reporting to stakeholders, providing timely updates on project progress, risks, and issues.Collaborate with IT leaders and project sponsors to prioritise projects, allocate resources, and manage project portfolios effectively.Drive continuous improvement initiatives within the PMO, identifying opportunities to streamline processes, enhance capabilities, and optimise resource utilisation.What do you need to fulfill this job?Proven experience in IT PMO, project management, or related roles.Proficiency in portfolio management tools and software, such as Microsoft Project, Jira, or similar platforms.Experience working with global teams.Proven experience using MS Excel and other tools to structure analysis and MS PowerPoint and others to present complex findings.Required skills:Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and make data-driven decisions.Excellent communication skills, with the ability to articulate complex concepts clearly and concisely to stakeholders at all levels.Strong organisational skills and attention to detail, with the ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines.In-depth knowledge of project management methodologies (e.g., PMBOK, PRINCE2, Scrum, other Agile methodologies) and experience implementing them in complex organisational settings.Certification in project management (e.g., PMP, PRINCE2) or portfolio management (e.g., PfMP) is highly desirable. #J-18808-Ljbffr
