IE University's Office of the Provost is looking for a Project Management Director to join its team!The positionThe Director of the Project Management Unit will be responsible for facilitating IE University's operational, academic and program support services for the establishment and development of the College. This role requires exceptional project management and strategic planning skills, as well as a good understanding of curriculum development, academic partnerships, and higher education standards. Reporting to the Vice Provost for Strategy and Development, the Director will play a key role in coordinating and communicating with staff, faculty, and providers from both institutions.Responsibilities:Launch the PMU: Develop a Project Management Unit (PMU) to oversee the services provided to the College, establishing consistent project management standards, tools and best practices to ensure alignment with IE's strategic goals.Monitor and report progress: Track project timelines, budgets and deliverables, providing regular updates to senior leadership and other key stakeholders, ensuring transparency and alignment.Manage operational processes: In close coordination with corresponding units, manage operational support processes, including legal and regulatory compliance, financial planning, commercial activities, campus renovations, human resources, and overall delivery of operational services.Manage academic processes: In close coordination with corresponding units and schools, manage academic support processes, including program development and implementation, accreditation and compliance, curriculum management, faculty recruitment and development, student services, academic and non-academic partnerships, alumni and community engagement, and overall delivery of academic and program-related services.Promote synergies with IE Programs: Leverage synergies with IE programs and students, including dual degrees, exchanges, visits, and competitions.Formulate operational and academic strategies: Design and implement operational, academic and program-related strategies for the successful launch and ongoing support of the College.Coordinate operational and academic stakeholders: Liaise with technical, administrative, academic and program management teams in New York and Spain to ensure cohesive planning and execution.Identify and manage risks: Identify potential risks and develop mitigation strategies to ensure the project's success.Ensure quality standards: Ensure the quality and consistency of project deliverables, meeting all operational and academic standards and aligning with institutional goals.Support financial management: Monitor the project budget, promoting financial responsibility and effective use of resources
